Can I use the TernioSwitch if I don't have any cellular reception and only Wifi, or use a softphone?

There may be times when you are deep inside of a building where you can't connect to your cellular network.  Can you still use the TernioSwitch?  Then answer is yes.  Since we currently don't have a softphone built into the TernioSwitch at this time, there are two options.  The first is to see if your cellular carrier has a WiFi calling option.  If so, then have them turn that on and set your mobile phone to accept WiFi calls.  With this setup you will receive calls through the TernioSwitch seamlessly when you enter areas with WiFi only.

The second option is to use a softphone app on your mobile device such as Skype or Google Voice.  Once you have your Skype phone number for your softphone, you can just use that number at the login page of the TernioSwitch instead of your mobile number.  When you're set to "Available" or "Ready"  on the TernioSwitch, and you are in a WiFi only area, when a call comes in, your softphone will ring.  Just answer that as you normally would.  That's it!  Your TernioSwitch is now working in a WiFi only environment.
